Yeah, I've had a night or two like that myself--ended up veering down a side street before I got to the REALLY bad part. But dude, corn? I totally thought that was an onion. With no eyes.
It's a little sad that we sometimes feel we cannot trust people. It was probably a good decision for you to do what you did. On the other hand, you could've made interesting friends.
haha, i have been to that part of town in the daylight hours and it scared the shit out of me. I'm gonna say you made the right decision... you may not have come out of The Tenderloin alive with that camara in your hands. Good video! PS. bit of trivia, the tenderloin got its name because way back in the day, the cops who worked that part of town were paid a lot because it was so dangerous... thus, they could afford tenderloins
I download movies from Archive.org. I watch the movies. I write and record new audio. I re-cut the video to the new audio. Every Wednesday there will be a new movie.

Hmm...I would venture that not going for pizza there with them was a smart decision.
Then again...like you said...you'll never know.

It was a good decision. But you are right! It could have been amazing. You will never know. That's a little depressing.
